# Switch workspace

> Move between the Qwoty workspaces you belong to.

If you belong to several workspaces, you work in one at a time: the **current workspace**. Its quotes, customers, catalogs, and settings are the ones you see. You can switch at any time.

## Switch from the workspace switcher

**1. Open the workspace switcher**

At the top of the main navigation, click the current workspace name. The menu lists your workspaces, grouped by organisation.

**2. Select a workspace**

Click the workspace you want to work in. Qwoty shows "Workspace changed successfully" and opens the dashboard of that workspace.

## Switch from the organisation settings

**1. Open the organisation settings**

Click **Settings**, then **General** in the **Organisation** section.

**2. Select the workspace**

In **Organisation Workspaces**, click the workspace name, or select **Edit** in its **⋯** menu. Qwoty switches to that workspace and opens its **General** settings.

## Switch when you create a quote from your CRM

When you click **New quote** on a CRM deal, Qwoty checks which of your workspaces have access to the deal. If several do, **Select a workspace** appears: pick one and click **Continue**. If only one does, Qwoty switches to it automatically.

## Common questions

> **Why don't I see a workspace in the switcher?**
>
> You only see the workspaces you're a member of. Ask an administrator of that workspace to invite you. See [Manage users](https://docs.qwoty.io/user-guide/settings/users/manage-users.md).

> **Do I have the same role in every workspace?**
>
> Not necessarily. Roles are defined per workspace, so you can have a different role in each one.
