A contract model is a reusable contract that sales reps add to quotes. Its text can include variables, filled in with each quote’s data when the customer reads the contract in the Dealroom or the PDF.

Contract model fields

Category values: Corporate document, Distribution agreement, DPA, HR, Intellectual property, Lease, Marketing agreement, NDA, Partnership agreement, Sales agreement, Service contract, Supplier agreement, Other (business specific).

How a contract model is used

  1. An admin adds the model to a template, as Always displayed (inserted in every quote) or Available (added by the sales rep), and optionally Mandatory.
  2. In the quote, the contract appears in the Contract section, where the sales rep can adjust the editable contract fields.
  3. In the Dealroom, the customer reads the contract and accepts it under Legal Agreements.
  4. The contract is part of the signed document. Qwoty doesn’t create a separate contract record.

Insert variables by typing @ or with the variable button of the editor toolbar. They appear as chips. See Use dynamic variables.
