In Qwoty, a contract isn’t a separate record: it’s a section of the quote. You add contract models to the quote’s Contract section, adjust their terms, and your customer reads and accepts them in the Dealroom before signing. The accepted contracts are part of the signed document.

Prerequisites

Add a contract

Contracts set to Always displayed or Mandatory in the template are already in the quote when you create it. To add another one:
1

Open the Contract section

In the quote editor, expand the Contract section at the bottom of the page.
2

Add contract models

Click Contract section. In Add contract models, select one or more models (the list shows their Name and Language) and click Add n item(s).
3

Name the section (optional)

Enter a Contract name (optional) to rename the section in this quote.

Adjust the contract terms

Each contract section shows the contract fields. You can change those marked Editable by sale in the contract model: If the contract is editable in the template, you can also adapt its text for this quote. You can add PDF Attachments to a contract section. Click Save in the header.
A Mandatory contract can’t be removed from the quote. Other contracts can be duplicated or deleted from the section menu.

What your customer sees

In the Dealroom, the contracts are listed under Legal Agreements. For each one, the customer clicks Read contract, then checks I have read and accept the terms and conditions. The checkbox only becomes available after opening the contract. The customer can’t proceed to signature until all mandatory contracts are accepted. The contract text shows the quote’s values in place of the contract variables, such as [Contract/Start Date].
